Water Supply and Sanitation Programme

Along with other Programs STC is implementing Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Program in rural communities of Armenia.

The aim of the Program

Provide access to clean and safe drinking water and proper sanitation systems in rural communities of Armenia.

Since 2000, STC has successfully completed and handed over to communities 15 new constructed water supply networks and 3 rehabilitated sewage systems.
To ensure the sustainability of completed projects, STC creating Village Water Users Committees and provided series of trainings as well as basic tool kits for minor repair, operation and maintenance of water systems.
The project provides also the repair / construction of toilet facilities for village schools and Medical Posts.
