Our mission:
To Support the Primary Health Care, Health Promotion and Community Development in order to Overcome Poverty and Inequality in the Country.

 

“Support to Communities” NGO is implementing community development and healthcare (PHC) programs in more than 135 villages of Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Lori, Tavush and Gegharqunik regions of RA.
The programs are as follows:

• Renovation and construction of village health facilities.
• Provision of basic drugs and pharmaceuticals.
• Construction and renovation of drinking water and sewage systems.
• Creation of health care foundations.
• Fund raising activities.
• Community mobilization, development and capacity building activities.
• Establishment of health resource centers in Kapan, Yeghegnadzor and Stepanavan.
• Training of village nurses.
• Organization of specialized doctors’ outreach visits and treatment of the village population.
• Health education, information dissemination and health rights protection of communities.
• Incorporation of grassroots perspective in national health policy thus supporting the implementation of PRSP.
• Development of fruitful mechanisms of social partnership.
• Development of guidelines of community based PHC programs in collaboration with the MOH. 
• Development and implementation of productive mechanisms of state health service provision.
